WHAT?
ŠENT - the Slovene Association for Mental Health in cooperation with EURO-PSY Rehabilitation - will be organising, during the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, a festival of psychosocial rehabilitation entitled THE MERRY-GO-ROUND OF CULTURE.

WHEN?
From Monday, 22 September 2008, to Friday, 26 September 2008

WHAT ABOUT?
The September international festival of psychosocial rehabilitation will take place in a beautiful natural habitat on the Slovene coast. The festival is organised on a yearly basis by the European association EURO-PSY Rehabilitation joining the European associations working in the field of mental health care in the community. The festival is organised in a different EU country every year. This year's event, tenth in a row, will be organised in Slovenia. It has been ŠENT, the Slovene Association for Mental Health, that has been entrusted with the organisation of the festival.
The festival will be dedicated to people with mentalhealth difficulties, their relatives, experts in the field and those who show an interest in psychosocial rehabilitation, mental health, culture, art and recreational activities.

As 2008 is the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, special emphasis will be placed on the presentation of Slovenia, its culture and ethnographic characteristics. The participants will be offered a wide variety of sports and relaxational activities, culture and arts workshops, as well as expert lectures, workshops and roundtables.

The visitors will thus be able to enjoy themselves while meeting people from other EU countries, to gain new knowledge in a variety of fields, to improving the quality of their leisure activities, to enhance their everyday social skills, and, most importantly, to spend time together and to exchange experiences.
